Diane HughesChattanooga Women’s Laser CenterDr. Diane Hughes has recently joined Dr. Liu’s practice at the Chattanooga Women’s Laser Center through the fellowship sponsored by the American Association for Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Not new to Tennessee, Dr. Hughes completed her medical education at the University of Tennessee in Memphis where she graduated at the top of her class. She then completed her residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Hughes has practiced in both private practice settings, providing comprehensive care to her patients , as well as academic, instructing resident physicians in minimally invasive surgery. As her patients quickly recognize, she is compassionate by nature and a staunch patient advocate with a practice style that emphasizes patient education to actively engage her patients in decisions regarding their health care. Her lifelong endeavor is to share her knowledge with her patients as she continues to explore and contribute to the future of women’s health care.
